The awards recognize African efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the world’s blueprint for a better future.
The winner of the 2022 ONE Africa Award will receive prize money of $100 000. The award recognizes best practices by an African organization addressing social development issues. The organization must align with the #JobsNowAfrica Campaign which is focused on job creation in Africa.
AWARD CRITERIA
Exceptional organizations and other groups that have shown dedication to and success in aiding Africans to achieve one or more of the SDGs via creative advocacy-based activities are eligible to receive awards.
Awardees must show that effective advocacy is an essential component of the delivery and success of their programs. Applicants must be working to promote ANY project and create jobs in ANY industrial sector (agricultural, ICT, commercial, etc.). The achievement of any SDGs by direct services is permitted for qualified recipients.
