The first edition of 2023 EB Connect took place successfully on January 27th, 2023 at the premises of Enterprise Bureau, Dzorwulu. The theme for this edition of EB CONNECT is centered on how to set financial goals and reach them.
Mr. Kwaw Degraft-Johnson, who is a Senior Finance Management Consultant spoke extensively on how to set financial goals and reach them. He outlined measures by which startups and entrepreneurs need to adopt in order to reach their financial goals.
He advised startups on the need to challenge and beat problems. “Every strategy must have an alternative, and every alternative strategy a backup”. This is because in every difficult situation one finds him/ herself, there will always be an alternative plan that will help you.
He reiterated that our minds are designed to work in a particular way, therefore for startups to reach their financial goals, they need to plan towards a set goal and object. He further explained that planning is a mental process, therefore every individual has the capacity to build themselves, and not depend on government and other financial agencies for assistance.
