Speaking at the Startup Dialogue Mr. Samuel-Prempeh Agyeman, a Corporate Trainer And Publishing Consultant, identified some problems with side businesses. It was stated people do not like to grow their side businesses to a full company.
Based on observation, it can be said that people experiment with their side hustle while they take their 9-5 jobs seriously. They later quit to continue experimenting with these side hustles which they had initially not taken seriously and this causes them to fail.
It was advised to find someone to employ in your side business while you do your full-time job. This would help you develop some management skills etc, which would be beneficial by the time you fully give it your attention.
Learn to decentralize your side hustle. People mostly start as the CEO, manager, HR, etc all in one. As time goes on employ people to handle other parts of the business. This would help you grow.
