Entrepreneurship Lecturer at Radford University College, Mr. Sarpong Dwomoh spoke at length during the Megatrends discussion roundtable curated by Enterprise Bureau. He shared insights into what he believes are the major drivers of entrepreneurial success – Attitude, Skillsets and Knowledge (ASK)
According to him, possessing the right attitude is vital if one wishes to succeed as an entrepreneur. This includes having a positive mindset that enables one to approach challenges with resilience and determination. Additionally, entrepreneurs must be willing to take risks and embrace failure as opportunities for growth.
In terms of skillsets, Mr Sarpong emphasized that successful entrepreneurs demonstrate high levels of adaptability and creativity. They are able to navigate changing market trends by quickly adjusting their strategies in response.
He detailed how knowledge plays an important role in achieving entrepreneurial success. Entrepreneurs must have a deep understanding of their industry and its key players while staying abreast of emerging technological advancements.
